Chicago native Loretta Burke, has lived in Aurora for over 15 years in the Diamond Bay subdivision. Loretta has served as Precinct Committeeman for Precinct 68 for many years. A proud union member of the Illinois Education Association, Loretta served as a delegate to the 2016 National Education Association’s Representative Assembly in Washington, D.C. Loretta earned a B.S. degree in Business Education from DePaul University, Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and Educational Administration Certification from Dominican University. She has also served as a Board member for the Diamond Bay Homeowners’ Association in Aurora. Loretta brings over 30 years of experience in the business, legal and educational communities in Chicago and Western Suburbs.
In her current position as a School Library Information Specialist in Oswego School District 308, Loretta recognizes the important roles of technology and data in making responsible financial decisions for our Township. In her position as Naperville Township Trustee, Loretta seeks to bring a greater awareness and outreach to residents of the services the Township offers to seniors, veterans and those in need. In her spare time, Loretta enjoys traveling, reading, skiing, and music concerts.
Julie Federico is a 30 year resident of Naperville Township, and currently lives in the River Bank subdivision in Naperville. She is an elected Precinct Committee member for Naperville Precinct 02. In her 30 years, she has seen the city grow from a small community to a thriving suburb.
Julie was born and raised in the Boston area, and moved to Naperville in 1987. She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University in Boston.
Julie is a retired engineer. She worked for over 30 years for a large telecommunications company in Naperville, including both Systems Engineering and Product Management.
Julie is currently Treasurer of the Naperville Sister Cities Commission, and also the River Bank Homeowner’s Association. She is a lector at St. Thomas the Apostle Church and a weekly volunteer at Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment (ADOPT). She is a classroom volunteer with Junior Achievement.
Julie, and her husband Jay, enjoy bicycling, hiking, geocaching and love both domestic and international travel. But they continue to call Naperville home, and enjoy all the opportunities the township has to offer.
Trustee Nina Trivedi, a Naperville native, leverages her extensive 25+ years of accounting experience to serve her community. Her financial career began at age 16, assisting her father at his CPA firm with bookkeeping and basic tax preparation. A graduate of Waubonsie Valley High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and subsequently specialized in corporate income tax returns. Today, she provides comprehensive financial services, including tax compliance guidance in a constantly evolving regulatory environment, audited financial statements, and assistance with alternative financing.
Trustee Trivedi is deeply involved in local civic affairs. She serves as Treasurer of her political organization and is a Precinct Committeeman. She also volunteers with the Chicago Association of Veterans of WWII, offering financial assistance to veterans. In addition, her background includes a real estate broker's license, stemming from her early exposure to her father's brokerage in Chicago.
Demonstrating a commitment to public service, Trustee Trivedi has volunteered with the IRS's VITA program since her college years, providing free tax preparation and specialized retirement-related tax counseling for seniors. She is dedicated to ensuring that the opportunities she enjoyed in Naperville Township are available to future generations.
John Waller has lived in Naperville since 1993, and brings his 30+ years of experience in various disciplines of Supply Chain Management to the position of Trustee. John’s experience in cost savings, logistics, and analyzing market trends will be valuable in driving down Township operating costs and your taxes.
John is currently the President of the Brookdale Homeowners Association, a position he has held since 2018, and has also served on the Congregational Council of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Naperville for 9 years, the last 3 years as President. He is currently the Athletic Director at St. Timothy organizing the weekly open gym volleyball program. He currently serves on the Mutual Ministry Committee, is active as a Worship Assistant and lay reader, and is also the bass player (and occasional bass singer) in two music ensembles at the church. John’s wife (Janet) and daughter (Jensine) are active volunteers and volunteer leaders at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, Hesed House, and Feed My Starving Children.
In his spare time, John enjoys bicycle riding on the many trails in the area (and beyond), beer hunting, and traveling.
