After carefully reviewing current electricity market conditions, Naperville Township has determined that continuing the Municipal Electrical Aggregation Program is not currently cost-effective for residents. Recent pricing proposals from energy suppliers do not offer savings when compared to ComEd's default “Rate to Compare.” As a result, the aggregation program with MC2 Energy Services will be discontinued effective December 2025.
Residents will automatically transition back to ComEd's standard supply service with no action required. This change will not affect your electricity delivery, billing, or service reliability.
Naperville Township will continue to monitor energy market trends and explore future opportunities that may benefit our community.
MC² Energy Services is an affordable and dependable electricity supplier, which provides unincorporated Naperville Township residents with its services. Rates are effective September 20th, 2022, and will be ending December 2025.
