Election judges are always needed. Without them, precinct polling places cannot legally operate. Judges are paid. The base pay for all election judges is $90 per election. However, a judge who has been tested will receive an extra $30 per election. When a judge picks up supplies, the compensation is $15.00 plus $.485 a mile. When supplies are returned, by 2 judges, the compensation is $15.00 plus $.485 a mile each.
